Lajku is company behind the dating site Mazily. Mazily is a new dating concept that centers around a member-sourced events guide, the Mazily Guide, and adds a ”layer of dating” to public events, such as concerts, festivals, exhibitions, happenings, etc. By letting the members meet through a mutual event interest, we approach the dating game from a new angle and create new ways of spreading the word. Singles with a mutual interest for an event will be encouraged to socialize and hook up... using various forms of site-supported interactions (invite someone, get asked out, blinddate, group meet-up, etc.), with the event as common denominator. The result is a more spontaneous dating experience, while simultaneously removing some of the stigma from online dating and extending the potential crowd. Mazily is up and running in Stockholm, Göteborg and Malmö, since January 2012, and London, since June 2013, with a very positive response from users and media. We were selected among the “Best Swedish lifestyle sites” 2012 and 2013 by Internetworld. Our first mobile app (on iPhone & Android) was released in August 2013 and we foresee that our guide dimension fits very neatly as a location-based service.More
