They are developing their invention: an ocean wave energy converter, a way to give mankind an access to the ocean's untapped energy. The idea of the project was to create a wave energy converter with a power output comparable to an off-shore wind turbine, but tapping a different energy source. The Lainergy Wave Energy Converter is a point absorber type of WEC, the operational part of the device absorbing energy from ocean waves.
