Al-Aqaria started its operations in 1980 as a real estate company with property Management & Maintenance, Project Management, and Cleaning & Security divisions. Al-Aqaria changed to a Holding Company from May 2006, having spun off its existing divisions into a project Management Company (Real Estate), a Maintenance Services Company, and a Construction Company. Currently, Al-Aquaria is in the process of establishing an Investment Company, an Energy Company (setting up a refinery), a Transportation Company, an Education Company, and finally a Healthcare Company.
