ENGINE VALVE The engine valves is made up of heat resistant alloy. krishna manufactured engine valves are reliable. The corrosive environment and high temperature cause dynamic load on the engine valve. • Intake valves made from steel EN-52 • Exhaust Valves made from Austenitic Steel of EN-52 or Bi-metal. The engine valve ensures that the mechanical properties of steel pass through the heat treatment process in the furnace. The chrome plate of tuff trided / nitrided engine valve stem is for surface hardness and resistance to corrosion of lubrication. Thus the engine valve seat portion and tip are hardened .Cottar and Grooves made by the engine valves are for turning machine within close tolerance and accuracy. Seat grinding is done to ensure international standards with concentricity and cylindricity. VALVE SEAT INSERTS Valve Seat Inserts extends the life of engine valve’s seat portion. Different types of materials are used to manufacture valve seat inserts. Special alloys of cast iron and chrome alloy steel are use to manufacture valve seat inserts. Intake seat inserts and exhaust valve seats are the types of valve seat inserts widely supplied by the company. Exhaust valve seat have high wear resistance to high temperatures. Valve seat inserts are suitable for use in light alloy aluminum and cast iron cylinder heads. krishna industries are the foundry and have a chemical analysis laboratory to provide special alloy casting to deliver high quality valve seat inserts. Special tool room allows valve seat inserts to be made as per customer’s requirements/specifications. krishna inddustries also have complete machine shop equipped with special purpose machines and instruments for valve seat inserts production. All standards and sizes of valve seat inserts are made to match OEM and global specifications. VALVE GUIDES Valve Guides are made from gray cast iron alloy. These valve guides have high phosphorus content. This improves running of poor lubrication conditions in valve guides. Valve Guides have high wear resistance. krishna valve guides are also provided with thread and spiral in its inner dia. This helps to retain the oil for long time in Valve Guides and Engine Valves. krishna valve guides have long life and are maintenance free.
