Kore Italia develops an efficient hydro-based, waste heat extraction system for kiln rollers in ceramic tile production. The MEPP ring is a heat recovery system for innovative ceramic furnaces, based on the transfer of heat directly from the furnace to a fluid in a liquid state (water). It provides for the installation of heat exchangers inside the oven, in the cooling zone, where the heat is already a cooking waste; an automatic regulation system, complete with safety and control elements, wh... ich allows to regulate the heat removed by each individual exchanger, in order to avoid excessive cooling of the tile and to avoid critical temperature and pressure situations; a delivery and return distribution ring, made of insulated steel tube (diameters from 4 "" to 5 "" according to the available potential), that connects all the exchangers (even more ovens) with all the available utilities; a dry-cooler, installed externally on the main return pipe, which has the task of dissipating the excess heat, in case of shutdown and / or partialization of the utilities; an electronic circulation pump with inverter that will guarantee the circulation of water throughout the ring. Inside an oven, the modules involved in the installation of the exchangers are those of rapid cooling and the first modules of the final cooling. The installation will be carried out in such a way as not to obstruct or modify the standard air cooling systems supplied with the ovens. The system, in order to increase the heat recovery, can be integrated by the heat recovery of the fumes, with the installation of an additional flue gas / water exchanger on the fumes exhaust.More
