Kinangop is a 60.8 MW wind farm development comprising the construction, financing, operation and maintenance of a greenfield wind park located in the Kinangop region, about 60km northwest of Nairobi. In an effort to address the growing demand for power in Kenya, Kinangop supports an ambitious Kenyan government initiative to increase generation capacity from the current 1.5GW to 5.6GW by 2022.
