International Baptist College At International Baptist College (IBC), in Tempe, Arizona, you will receive the education and foundation needed to work in ministerial professions. IBC gives its students ministerial assignments, as well as spiritual guidance and support. IBC awards associate’s and bachelor’s degrees. Select areas of study include: * Bible and Christian Service * Bible and Teacher Education * Bible and Church Music Students receive mentorship from faculty, all of who... m are devout Christians with master’s or doctoral degrees in Christian ministry or theology. Students also join ministry teams and Biblical societies. Through internships at local churches, students also get to practice ministerial skills. Ministerial internships could include running a church choir or teaching at a Christian school. Admission requirements include a high school diploma or GED. IBC also accepts home-schooled students, provided they have fulfilled certain educational requirements. The ACT or SAT is recommended, but not required. Applicants should also be committed to Christian spirituality and the teachings of the Bible. All admitted students who are under the age of 23 must live in an IBC dorm. IBC awards various partial tuition scholarships. Requirements for individual scholarships vary. Criteria could include financial need, ACT scores, Christian service, GPA or family background.
