In-Synch Systems invested heavily in creating core technologies that were envisioned as being valuable to law enforcement. An early triumph included the development of a prototype Computer Aided Dispatch System for the California Highway Patrol through a contract with IBM. This CAD system enabled all operations of a dispatch center to instantly fail-over to a secondary backup location in the event of a natural or man-made disaster. After a number of years of research and development, In-Synch Systems decided to focus exclusively on providing Records Management, Field Reporting and Data-Sharing products to the Public Safety industry
