IBF NET GROUP

IBF Net is the maiden online community for exchange of views among researchers and professionals in the field of Islamic business and finance set up in the year 1999. In the same year, IBF Net designed and offered the maiden suite of certifications in Islamic finance in online mode. Twelve years later, IBF Net moved to Malaysia with the establishment of its flagship, the International Institute of Islamic Business and Finance with a mission to “leverage research and technology to build a halal... ecosystem”. In 2020, it set up the IBF Digital Labs in Singapore to develop platforms on Algorand blockchain protocol and AI. 2021 witnessed the merger of all IBF Net social media networks into a parent Network under a new entity called IBF Net Limited based in Ireland. The Network now seeks to develop and host multiple platforms and use cases in line with the trichotomy of an Islamic economy into philanthropy, not-for-profit and for-profit segments. It aims to develop smart contracts using Algorand protocol that are replicable and customizable for various Islamic financial contracts.
