Hub LA is a dynamic workspace and in-person membership community dedicated to the individuals and teams building the local, sustainable economy in Los Angeles and beyond. It offers members access to 4,000 square feet of creative industrial space to work, meet, learn, collaborate, and play; a curated community of values-aligned individuals and companies; and custom programming and events focused on personal and professional development. Hub LA combines the best of a cafe, innovation lab, busin... ess accelerator, serviced office, and community center to create a place for meaningful encounters, productive work sessions, exchange and inspiration all with the ambition to develop social innovation. As a part of the Global Hub Network, its members get immediate access to a global community and a brain trust of over 4000 individuals leading social innovation in cities around the world. Its selected members are impact professionals, social entrepreneurs, investors, policy makers, artists, activists, students, scientists, technologists, educators, and individuals. Their skills and focus span multiple sectors from education and clean tech, to design and media. Hub LA was started in London in 2006 as a for-profit social enterprise. From San Franciso to Johannesburg to Sao Paulo and Milan, The Hub has expanded into a diverse global network of over 30 locally-owned places all connected by a shared vision and brand.More
