The founding members of hooheals are medical professionals. As doctors they have always been concerned that healthcare in Singapore has been more about ‘who you know’ and how much hospitals or doctors pay to market themselves, which makes it hard for people to be able to find the right medical professionals for particular medical conditions. It has always been difficult to get reliable referrals as there has never been an independent advisory service one could depend on for the right medical advice.
