HedgeSport is an online stock market that enables users to trade shares of real athletes in real-time. Fans can buy and sell shares of their favorite athletes or short-sell rivals. Trading takes place in a marketplace where player share values convert at the expiration of the regular season to a fixed dollar value based upon their rank.
