H.G. Hill Realty Company provides for the purchase of the properties on which his stores are situated. The supermarket business thrived as a result of H.G. Hill's diligent efforts, and his real estate holdings grew. He had the chance to investigate and, in many cases, purchase properties in foreclosure or difficulty while serving on the Board of Directors of the former Nashville Bank & Trust Company. He was not just interested in new H.G. Hill Food Stores sites at the time, but also in prospective store locations and investment property for his family's future stability.
