Growth Factor is a Fintech startup focused on unlocking the working capital of SMEs in the Agricultural Sector in Africa by streamlining the process of invoice discounting through the use of smart contracts. Our System connects Buyers of Agricultural produce, SME Suppliers and Financiers to ensure transparency of transactions to enable early payment by Financiers to these SMEs. A large percentage of SMEs are paid for goods at least 30 days after delivery. This leads to stagnation of these SMEs... as their working capital is locked up. Through our system, the acknowledgement of receipts of goods is confirmed by the buyer and communicated to the financier for advance payment to be disbursed immediately at a discounted rate to the supplier. The financier then receives payment at maturity date.
