At Green Tech Aircraft we take on major challenges in the aviation industry: emissions and noise, high and volatile fuel cost - putting pressure on ticket prices and airline operating margins - and congested airports and high density routes. 4.1 billion passengers boarded a commercial aircraft in 2017, with 30% of them flying distances of less than 300 Nm (550 km). Our vision is to connect ten-thousands of currently underserved airports worlwide, accessible for on-demand travel, conveniently, f... ast and at affordable fares. We are developing an 9-seat purely battery powered commuter airplane, called Ypselon, with a usable range of 700+ km by the early 2020's and 1000 km within the next ten years. And, we cut door-to-door speed in half at a competitive operating cost compared to larger seat regional airliners.
