Green and Cool AB’s technology enables the change of refrigerant in refrigeration systems, from environmental burdensome chemicals to ordinary carbon dioxide. Low environmental impact One kilogram of today’s most common refrigerant has more than 3800 times the greenhouse effect as the same amount of carbon dioxide. Moreover, Green and Cool’s systems reutilize existing carbon dioxide and therefore do not add any new greenhouse gases to the atmosphere. The company’s refrigeration systems are also energy efficient and can reduce the energy consumption by up to 30 per cent.
