GERMANTOWN ACADEMY

Germantown Academy provides tablet initiative in the seventh and eighth grades students with engaging access to the world and enhanced communication with their teachers. In addition to working on the tablets in every class and taking them home each night, students also take a Technology course once per rotation that focuses on good digital citizenship and responsible use of technology. The counseling department focuses on psycho-education, consultation, prevention, intervention, treatment, and referrals. Assistance is offered for a wide variety of issues including relationship difficulties, emotional conflicts, friendship, and family concerns, time management, conflict resolution, and stress and anxiety reduction.
