Futurestep was founded at idealab! as a means to re-engineering the hiring of mid-level executives into large and small firms alike by lowering the cost to deliver vetted candidates for hiring needs while shortening the time to place a new executive at the hiring firm. It pioneered psychographic matching between the candidates and hiring managers, while also providing in-home video candidate interviewing technology. While jointly developed by idealab! and Korn Ferry leadership, it is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Korn Ferry as its middle-market brand.
