Fukuoka SoftBank HAWK is a professional baseball team owned and operated by SoftBank, a sports entertainment provider in Japan. SoftBank started the Fukuoka SoftBank HAWKS professional baseball team in January 2005 with the aim of triggering a revolution in professional baseball and to create a more entertaining baseball experience in Japan and around the world. As of December 24, 2004 Fukuoka SoftBank HAWKS Corp. operates as a subsidiary of SOFTBANK Corp.
