Buying fish directly from local fisherman supports local economy of its users and transparent information is provided to its users by fishermen. Buyers supports artisan fishermen that are vital to local communities. The marketplace allows its users to view what is being caught in real-time. It alerts its users when a fisherman catches, they contact the fisherman, then they can pick up their seafood directly off the boat. Fresher is a U.S.-based company that was founded in 2014.
