FORTRESS RESISTORS
Fortress Resistors offers Neutral Earthing Resistors, Filter Resistors, Dynamic Braking Resistors, and Motor Control Resistors to the mining, petrochemical, electrical utility, and general industry sectors. On AC variable frequency drives, dynamic brake resistors are used to dissipate energy produced in the motor as the drive provides braking torque to stop the motor. During braking conditions, the dynamic braking resistor will be exposed to voltages as 800 volts.
