EVENTSCOUTS

EventScouts is building the home for all lists. It is a decentralized social network focused on events and activities. Currently, the information about events and activities is spread over very different platforms, websites, apps, and blogs. We bring this data to a single database, the blockchain, to make it easier for people to save it all in one place. For our platform, we choose the format of lists to display such content. The harmonized, user-generated data and consistent format help people... to access the data faster, stay better informed about the things around them, get updates more consistently, and be better inspired. In essence, the lists at EventScouts serve as dynamic libraries where users can store information about activities and events and always have them automatically updated. On other platforms, content creators don’t actually own the content they publish and don’t earn money for their creations. We are changing that. We created the first set of smart contracts that let users publish the data directly to the blockchain and have ownership of it. Each user-generated list is an NFT (non fungible token) that comes with an embedded advertising banner (extensible NFT) that is up for sale and can be leased, thus turning it into a yield generating asset.More
