EUROPEAN SOUTHERN OBSERVATORY
The European Southern Observatory (ESO) is an intergovernmental astronomy organization and astronomical observatory. The organization operates a suite of ground-based astronomical telescopes enabling important scientific discoveries, and offers possibilities for technology spin-off and transfer, together with high technology contract opportunities. The European Southern Observatory was founded in 1962 and is based in Munich, Germany.
