Eski Tech is an Icelandic company that develops medical and health care solutions. They develop RemindMe, an automatic medicine dispenser for dosage packed medicine. RemindMe intends to increase medical compliance and thereby increase people’s quality of life and in the meantime save billions of dollars for the healthcare system. It is estimated that patients who don’t take their medicine as prescribed, cost the US healthcare system about $290 billion in avoidable medical spending each year. Today the problem is partly solved with dosage packed medicine. Although this solution is helpful it is not sufficient. The company was founded in 2012 and is based in Reykjavík, Iceland.
