Heat pumps are everywhere around us: refrigerators, air conditioners, ground- and air-source heat pumps, are all powered by the same core mechanism, and our start-up holds the key to change it all! Earth Pumps is an early-stage start-up that has developed an incredible, new, unprecedented heat pump technology with up to 8 times higher efficiency than existing systems. While the best on-market systems collect just over 2kW of thermal energy per kW of electricity used to power the system, we have a technology capable of producing up to ~20kW of heat per kW electricity for heating from 0°C to 85°C.
