DPD UK

DPD UK is a member of one of Europe's leading parcels groups, DPDgroup, which is wholly owned by France's La Poste, the second largest postal group in Europe. A leading operator in the UK express parcels sector, DPD offers a range of specialist solutions and services. DPD UK started its life in 1970 as Courier Express and in 1984 changed its name to Parceline after it was acquired Mayne Nickless. In 2000, Parceline was bought by La Poste and in 2008, Parceline was renamed DPD UK. The 33-acre site is the largest of its kind in Europe, can sort up to 72,000 parcels per hour. In 2020 DPD UK will take delivery of 300 new Nissan e-NV200 vans which will take the total number of electric vehicles to 450, with targets to have 500 EVs by the end of the year, making it the largest EV parcel delivery fleet in the UK.
