Founded in 1985, DaLEK is a software company. DaLEK's first product was a two-dimensional Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) package, name MicroDraft, for the then popular Amstrad CPC6128 and PCW8256 microcomputers. Since then the company has developed expertise in a number of scientific and engineering disciplines. The original MicroDraft code was rewritten and ported to the PC environment, firstly under MSDOS, then 16 bit Windows and finally 32 bit Windows environments.
