Children are engaging with the internet at an increasingly younger age, through an increasing number of devices, platforms, and applications. However, these children are not being sufficiently taught how to do so in a safe and responsible manner. Cybee teaches children from the age of six, how to engage with the internet in a safe and responsible manner, by empowering them with the correct competencies and behaviours towards a wide spectrum of core topics, including; social media management, gr... ooming (predatory advancements), cybersecurity, data privacy, screen life balance and cyberbullying. Cybee focused on empowering children by creating a learning eco-system that informs parents and educators so as to empower the children in the best possible way, thus having the largest social impact. Cybee’s competitive advantage lies in its dynamic, innovative game-based educational program using machine learning to achieve the best possible learning outcomes. Through the educational program, children are taught competencies and positive behaviours towards the internet through fun, interactive quest-like games that assist children through a contextualized and repetitive learning environment. Through these activities and digital games, children can better understand the impact of their decisions, both in the short- and long-term. This contextualized learning gives the children the freedom to make mistakes and explore the outcomes in a safe environment. The program helps them develop their critical thinking with regards to identifying potential risks and empowering them with the knowledge of how to deal with issues they may face online. This format of content delivery also encourages ongoing discussion within the classroom and at home.More
