Cullinet Software distributes database management system IDMS and the integrated software package for midrange and mainframe computers. Its portfolio of products includes IDMS, a network database management system; IDMS-DC, a teleprocessing system; Online English, an online reporting tool; and more. The company was formerly known as Cullinane Database Systems, Inc. and changed its name to Cullinet Software, Inc. in September 1983. Cullinet Software was founded in 1968 and is headquartered in Westwood, Massachusetts. It was originally started by John Cullinane and Larry English.
