CSP Medical is a North American medical equipment distributor to hospitals, medical clinics and cancer centres. CSP Medical formerly known as Canadian Scientific Products Ltd was founded in 1971 by Leonard and Bonnie Gensens. As a professional chemist, Len focused his expertise in producing specialty chemicals with several proprietary formulas for his clients. By 1988 the company was distributing several exclusive product lines across Canada and was quickly becoming the primary Canadian source for medical accessories for hospitals, cancer centres, medical clinics, x-ray dealers and OEM's like Siemens, GE, Philips and Toshiba. During 1999 several milestones occured including the purchase of the company by Steve Gensens, the signing of an exclusive third party supply agreement with Siemens Canada and obtaining ISO 9001:2000 certification.
