CROWD EXPEDITION

Crowd Expedition is a two-year research project that aims to create a vision on the future and the real added value of Collaborative Economy: the umbrella name for practices such as crowdfunding, crowdsourcing, slacktivism, co-creation, and the sharing economy. The project focuses on horizontal themes and vertical expertise. Crowd Expedition works on horizontal themes such as mobility, financial service, education and sharing knowledge, participation and democracy, labor market and organization... , energy, leisure and food, and more. The participants of the project talk to national and international initiatives, experts, researchers, and existing organizations about these themes via approximately 2 weekly interviews. The project focuses on vertical expertise fields such as marketing, accountancy, legal, usability, business models, nudging, history, social media, organization, communities, communication, and more. It also organizes several events, brainstorms, and presentations. Crowd Expedition’s operations are based in Utrecht, the Netherlands.More
