In 2018, in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On the Electricity Market", the first stage of reforming the energy market was carried out: the division of all oblenergos into two companies - the distribution system operator (SRS) and the supplier. In due time, Chernihivoblenergo received a license for the right to conduct business in the distribution of electricity within the places of business, namely in the Chernihiv region and Slavutych, Kyiv region within the location of the electricity distribution system owned by PJSC " Chernihivoblenergo "and electrical networks of other owners, which are connected to the networks of the licensee. The resolution came into force on January 1, 2019. Accordingly, the Company began operations as a division system operator.
