CHELYABINSK METALLURGICAL PLANT

Chelyabinsk is vertically integrated steel manufacturer in Russia. Mechel is the parent company, has subsidiaries and affiliates, which together with their affiliated persons form a holding company, also collectively referred to as Mechel. Two of the key ones are mining, which includes the production of coal, iron ore concentrate and coke, and metallurgy, which includes the production and processing of steel and its alloys. The third segment of Mechel's business is the energy sector, whose enterprises are engaged in the production of heat and electricity.
