This experience helped her enter the financial sector when she joined the Central Bank of Nigeria as a Youth Corporation Member in 1982. Within one year, she was promoted to the position of Senior Supervisor to Assistant Data Centre Manager. She worked in the company for eight years, in total, and quit the job in 1990 as the Head of Computer operations. Central Bank of Nigeria was founded in 1958 and is headquartered in Abuja, Nigeria.
