CAROá
Caroá is a cooperative formed and managed by young farmers from the semi-arid region of Ceará who struggle to stay in the countryside through sustainable agriculture and fair trade. The cooperative sells 34 varieties of vegetables, organic fruits, and vegetables, in addition to jellies, cakes, pates, and bread. The sale is made directly to the final consumer in the cities of Fortaleza and Caucaia, by Feira Caroá, and to corporate customers.
