Capital A is a new investment company with a long history. The Capital A team has been responsible for midmarket private equity within ABN AMRO since 1982 and was previously named ABN AMRO Participaties. In 2018 the then investment team continued independently as Capital A. ABN AMRO is still an important investor in the various funds. Other fund investors are: AlpInvest, LGT, Five Arrows, and Bregal.
