CAMPERDOWN ACADEMY
Camperdown Academy allows dyslexic students to achieve their full academic potential, and the school provides educational outreach to help the community engage the full potential of dyslexic students and adults. Founded by parents who were concerned about the lack of opportunities available for their dyslexic children, the school offers specialized academic instruction to gifted students with learning disabilities. The School curriculum was focused on teaching children to compensate for their learning disabilities in a multi-sensory, individualized manner, with an emphasis on small student-to-teacher ratios.
