It’s hard to believe that in 1901, Cameron University held its first classes in the basement of a bank. The school has grown substantially since then, with an average fall enrollment above 5,000. While many large public institutions suffer from a lack of individualized attention, Cameron works to maintain the small school atmosphere even as it grows. The university’s student-to-faculty ratio is low, so you’ll get the benefits of small class sizes in a large school setting.
