The two operating mines, Magdalena and Aviemore, have substantial coal resources, and the Company supplies thermal coal, anthracite and calcine into both domestic and export markets. Buffalo Coal is continually evaluating acquisition opportunities of high quality thermal and metallurgical coal projects in southern Africa and beyond, and the Company’s strategy is to build a mid-tier high quality coal company.
