Brown Toy Box creates and delivers STE(A)M-themed subscription boxes and products that expose and prepares Black children to STEAM. It aims to help parents of children of color find toys, books, gifts, and games that reflect them culturally. Brown Toy Box wants to normalize Black excellence and prepare Black children to confidently compete in activities and later careers in STEM/STEAM. STEAM jobs are the jobs of the future and currently, Blacks make up less than 5% of people filling these positions. It was founded in 2018 and is based in Atlanta, Georgia.
