B.L.T.lab is the abbreviation of Better Life Technologies lab. Their name describes their vision too. The lab consists by a team of scientists coming from different areas of expertise. The purpose of their existence is to improve the everyday life of millions of blind people around the world by thinking differently and combine their experience with all the latest technologies, technics and materials. Most of their projects are about improving the quality in the education of these people (educat... ional projects, teaching material, access in more book titles, online access), gadgets (like new redesigned canes and “clever” household devices) and research for new hardware devices, such as tablets, and software, special designed for their needs. Their latest project is EduPath. An ereader with dynamically changing surface that can reproduce braille, so the user is able to transform every electronic text or book into braille, hoping to bring an educational revolution for millions of blind people and their families.
