BIRTHWISE MIDWIFERY SCHOOL

Birthwise Midwifery School offers training programs and continuing education courses for future and practicing midwives. Birthwise Midwifery School offers a three-year on-campus program that prepares students for professional midwife certification. Students in this program attend classes two to three days per week, and also undertake a local clinical assignment at a facility that uses midwives. The school offers a similar program called the Community Program for those who live in other states. Those in the community program complete clinical hours in their home community. They also go to Bridgton several times per year to meet with faculty.
