Berlin Startup Academy is the result of almost 15 years of digital entrepreneurship and startup drive in the German capital. While at the time of the first Internet boom in 1999/2000, hardly anyone of the protagonists in Germany had much experience in building or financing startups, today the situation is different. Many entrepreneurs who learned the business the hard way in 2000 have meanwhile become multiple founders, business angels, or investors.
