Asiqo is a mobile application that enables brands to interact with their global audience through TV advertisements, billboards, magazine advertisements, flyers, and in-store advertisements in a variety of novel ways. The application’s technology is based on computer visions that enable users to find out more about offline visuals through their smartphones. Brands that use the application will be notified in real-time about who, what, when, and where an advertisement has been scanned. Users will receive incentives based on their scans including voucher codes, discounts for new products, prize draw entries, cash-backs, and many others. Asiqo was founded by Mihai Balaceanu, Mircea Patachi, and Lorand R. Minyo in April 2013 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
