American Blanching originally started as Fitzgerald Blanching in the early 1980's providing blanching and cleaning services for the peanut industry. Strategically located in the heart of the peanut belt, we are within a short drive of where over 75% of the U.S. peanut crop is grown. With a blanching capacity of 25,000 pounds per hour, American Blanching utilizes the latest technology in the industry, from custom design and built blanchers to state-of-the-art electronic sorters and X-Ray machines. In 1995, American Blanching expanded its capabilities to include the production of peanut butter. Our Fitzgerald, Georgia location now has two production plants and produces more than 100 million pounds of peanut butter per year in sizes ranging from retail jars to 40,000 pound tanker trucks.
