ALVVA
Alvva is an SF-based startup that builds unique financial products that increase the upward mobility of the more than 25 million noncitizen immigrants living in the United States. More than half of eligible non-citizens report unaffordability as a primary reason for not pursuing citizenship, and close to half do not have access to traditional forms of credit. Our first product is a credit-building loan to pay for expenses associated with filing an immigration application. Our founding team moved to the US in pursuit of a better future and has a combined 15 years of mission-driven fintech experience from Oportun and Aura Financial. We understand the unique challenges immigrants face and are driven to help them fulfill their dreams faster by giving them a small financial push.
