ADMINISTRATIVE SCIENCES ASSOCIATION OF CANADA

Administrative Sciences Association of Canada is a professional body that brings together all those interested in research, teaching and management practices. Originally founded in 1957, the Association of Canadian Schools of Commerce and Business Administration had a mission to promote and improve higher education in commerce and business as well as provide a forum for scholarly research. In 1977 the association changed its name to ASAC and by the mid-1980s, was on par with associations such as the US Academy of Management. Today ASAC offers a collegial membership and international conference with twenty interdisciplinary tracks where senior and junior academics, students and business professionals come together to innovate organizational management.
