Acumen International – was founded in 1991, located in San Rafael, CA and acquired by Human Factors, Inc. in 1998. Acumen delivered performance management software that leveraged data from 360 degree surveys and other sources to provide feedback and recommendations for performance improvement. Acumen’s Leadership WorkStyles product was designed to help leaders strengthen their management effectiveness. Key customers included companies like Hyatt Hotels, UPS and Disney. With tens of thousands of users, the products were sold directly as well as through channel partners across North America.
