ABALOBI
Abalobi is a co-designed and fisher-driven mobile app suite to transform small-scale fisheries governance from hook to cook. It is aimed at social justice and poverty alleviation in the small-scale fisheries chain, transformation in the way knowledge is produced, stewardship of its marine resources, and resilience-building in the face of climate change. Promoting traceable, storied seafood by empowered small-scale fishers from hook to cook, in a manner that is not only ecologically responsible but also socially fair.
