6S Medical is developing the Troclosure, a medical device that assists with laparoscopic surgery. The Troclosure features an integrated suture deployment mechanism, which assists the surgeon in quickly and accurately closing internal incisions. With this device, 6S Medical seeks to improve healing times and decrease complication rates in the 2.5 million laparoscopic surgeries that are performed in the US each year.
